recently co-sponsored the United Nations Workshop on Energy Efficiency,
Global Competitiveness and Deregulation in New York
City. The workshop explored ways (in both the public and private sectors)
to buy competitively priced electricity and natural gas for facilities
across the globe, and it also provided the opportunity to learn about
new financing mechanisms and renewable energy sources

EMR president Naresh Khosla was recently honored as an Energy
Champion by the Department of Energy's You Have the Power campaign.
The program recognized Mr. Khosla's work supporting the General Services
Administration's Energy Center of Expertise. Mr. Khosla has helped GSA
position itself as the provider of choice for utility and energy management
services for Federal facilities in the deregulated environment.
